I think most everyone knows by now but we are excited to announce we are going to have a BABY! Due date is December 20. (Hopefully before?!?!) 15 Weeks down, 25 to go!
I have been feeling really great with the exception of being tired but I can deal with that! I have had 2 doctor appointments so far and we have been able to hear the heartbeat both times which is amazing! Next doctor's appointment is July 14 so stay tuned for more updates!
So we may be a bit biased but we think we have the CUTEST niece ever! Thought we'd share a few more pictures!
GIRL! Kennedy Faith was born last night to my brother Michael and his wife Beth at 6:50 PM @ Holland Hospital. She weighed 7 lbs. and 7 ozs. She is absolutely beautiful! We got to see her at abour 9 PM for a little while before they took her away for a bath and checkup. Congrats you guys, you are going to be GREAT parents! Don't forgot what babysitter lives right around the corner! :)
This weekend we had the opportunity to get away for the weekend. We went up to Manistee with our small group to our leaders, the Hubers, cabin. Here's a picture of what it looks like:
Happy (late) Valentine's day!
I started out my birthday celebration by meeting my mother-in-law Barb at Spectator's for lunch Friday. It was nice to catch up with her and hear what they have been up to. She also spoiled me with a new purse and beautiful roses! Then Friday night my whole family got together for dinner at Crazy Horse. We were even lucky enough to have my girlfriend Amber wait on us! After dinner we stopped in to see Grandma Draisma at Resthaven and wish her happy valentine's day.
Saturday I got to sleep in and then hit breakfast at Windmill Restaurant with my mom and sister and then headed off to Muskegon for an afternoon of shopping. We also got pedicures in the mall which was my favorite part of the day! Saturday night Mike & Beth invited us over to their house for dinner with our cousins Ross & Sarah. After seeing the restaurants PACKED at 5 O'clock already I was all about skipping the waiting game! It was great food and conversation!
Sunday we went to church then to Daris' dad's house for lunch with his family. Sunday night we had small group at the Huber's. It was a busy weekend but was a lot of fun. Hope everyone else had a great "love" weekend!
Friday night, January 9, we watched our friends Ryan & Amy get married after dating for 6 years! It was hard to believe it was finally happening! It was a beautiful wedding and a lot of fun to get everyone together.
